One really big slug species likes to hang around in my yard. They resemble that one quite a lot. There’s also one invasive big slug spreading around here but I haven’t yet seen them in my own yard.

You can use beer to kill slugs. Just cut a paper cup so it’s about 1.5 inches tall, fill with beer, leave out near your garden. If you have slugs, you’ll see them dead the next morning.
